Our Landscaping teams have constructed many major projects throughout the South West working with companies such as leading retailers, business parks, educational establishments, County, District and Parish councils.

We will arrange to come and see you at your convenience to discuss your landscape requirements, professionally draw designs using the latest computer aided programmes and when you’re happy with the design we will construct your bespoke landscape.

A landscape report detailing maintenance of your new landscaped area can also be provided.

We understand the differences in materials, plants, soils, and site conditions and we will advise you on the relationship each of these items will have on the longevity and performance of your project. It is assumed that quality generally comes with a price tag, however planning and budgeting will ensure the quality of the project will not be jeopardized. Our service is most cost effective when we see the project through from the early planning stages and continue through to the completion and aftercare.

Designing and planning

Our design and planning team will visit our client’s site and survey the area, draw a design using the latest computer aided design package which can calculate precise areas and produce detailed plans. Anything you may want to change on the plan can be quickly carried out and then plot printed to A1. Once you are happy with the design phase of the project we will then price the project including time scales and an aftercare plan if required.

Interior Design, Planning, Planting and Maintenance

Whether in a shopping mall or office accommodation, Greenslades can provide you with the full package of interior design, planning, planting and maintenance. We have recently designed and installed an atrium for a client on the ground floor of a large multi story office block. The atrium gives you a sense of relaxation with its water features sub-tropical plants, textures of different stone and curved decking.

Planting schemes

Greenslades have completed many planting schemes and have the ability to see the job through from start to finish. We can visit your site, survey it, take away soil samples for ph testing and texture analysis, then draw up a planting scheme taking into consideration the clients needs and what the soil is capable of growing. Once the client is happy with the plans, our teams will site visit and plant to the required specification. We only supply quality plants from well established nurseries and will guarantee our planting schemes for 1 year providing the aftercare plan is adhered to. Large or small areas of ground can be either turfed or seeded depending on your budgets and timescales. We have excellent suppliers of both turf and seed and can produce a fine quality turfed lawn, hard wearing grassed areas, meadow leys or even wild flower mixes. We can prepare your ground ready for your desired surface, take soil tests and add specially formulated fertilisers to the surface should this be necessary . We can also supply an aftercare plan including irrigation requirements, fertiliser needs and weed control. If it’s a large site and you don’t have time to mow it yourself we can even come and do it for you.

Planting trees and shrubs

Tree and shrub planting can create a softer feel to the landscape by giving the area colour, scent, texture and height. We can supply quality plants to produce this for you. We will prepare your ground ready for planting, plant trees from whips to heavy standards. You may just want to cover an area to reduce maintenance by planting ground cover shrubs or why not have an area designed and planted to encourage wildlife? Greenslades have provided major companies with many large planted areas for example supermarket car parks and boundaries. We always endeavour to keep to agreed deadlines.

Fencing

There are many different types of fences we can create for you. Our landscaping teams can take away your old fence and build you a new fence to any specification that is required. We will always endeavour to give you our expert advice when choosing the correct fence for your specific needs.

Creating wildlife and conservation areas

In the world we live in it’s always good to encourage wildlife into your garden, however, there is a skill in creating these areas. Knowing what plants and trees will enhance the likelihood of encouraging new wildlife into your garden is not an easy task. We have the expertise within Greenslades to carry out surveys to find out what would be most suitable to plant. We can also create an aftercare plan for you to help you encourage more flora and fauna in the years to come.
