Mowing

Our Grounds Maintenance teams have all the equipment to mow large and small areas including sports fields, cemeteries and school playing fields. We have the facilities to collect grass and dispose of either on or off site. Our teams also maintain and line mark sports pitches and any athletics facility. So whether it is fine turf or larger rough areas we will be able to help you.

Strimming Strimming large and difficult areas of grass can be hard to do but our Grounds Maintenance teams are experienced staff who are trained in carrying out these works. They use personal protective equipment and the latest noise emissions and vibration reducing machines. We also carry out ground clearance including brushwood cutting and litter clearance. Every individual project is carefully surveyed and risk assessed before any work commences.

Hedge Cutting and Clipping

At Greenslades we take great pride in our work, hedge cutting and shaping is no exception whether it is an ornamental hedge or boundary field hedge. Our service includes to cut, clear and dispose of the arisings however, should you wish, we can recycle by chipping your hedge clippings and apply as mulch your borders.. What ever you decide our works will result in a beautifully cut hedge and a clear site.

Pesticide Application

All our pesticide application operatives are qualified to National Proficiency Test Council standards and include tractor mounted spraying knapsack spraying and controlled droplet application. We can apply pesticides to small or large areas to control weeds and other vegetation. We can also control evasive weeds such as Japanese knotweed and ragwort and also hold certificate of competence in spraying close to water with specialist chemicals. We are very environmentally conscious and will always find the best and safest way of applying as well as using chemicals least harmful to the environment.

Site Clearance

Greenslades carry out land and garden clearance such as clearing brash, weed growth, ground foliage and excavating trees or stump removal. We can break up and remove patios, old sheds, concrete paths and masonry walls and other unwanted garden structures. All debris is removed safely from site.
